Name: The Cleansing
Inspiration: Like Rand channeling lightning to get out of Saml Hake's inn, the idea for using a clarified cocktail to represent the cleansing of Saidin was a stroke of genius (if I do say so myself).
Cocktail Recipe (about 8 servings):At least 2 days before you want to serve the cocktail, in a large mason jar pour:8 oz white rum8 oz brandypeels of 1 lemon1 cinnamon stick2 cloves1 tbsp ground nutmeglet infuse for 2- 12 hrs (or longer)strain and discard the solidsNow pour into the existing infused liquor:1/2 cup sugar4 oz lemon juice4 oz pineapple juice8 oz waterstir until sugar is dissolvedin another container pour 4 oz whole milkslowly add in the coctail mixturestir gently & regrigerate for 2-24 hours (recommend 24 hrs)after the mixture has curdles, strain using coffee filters or cheese cloth into another containercan strain twice for extra clarifcationserve over a large ice sphere garnish with a lemon peel
